The Religious Wrong: Pray the Tornadoes Away

Pat Robertson really thinks he knows everything? Now he is giving us meteorology lessons. Thanks, but I'll stick to The Weather Channel instead.

Besides that,  he is literally telling people the tornadoes are their fault for building homes in tornado alley. Earthquakes are their fault for building homes on seismically active ground, and so on. Is there any place on this planet that is prone to zero natural disasters? I'm pretty sure the answer to that question is a resounding NO.

As to the prayer part, exactly how many people have to pray to make tornadoes stop? How hard do these people need to pray? Does the Bible tell us this, because I missed that verse in Bible School apparently. It would also appear that Robertson has never heard that old adage "The Lord hears all prayers, even if sometimes the answer is no."

Anyone asking Pat Robertson for advice should have their heads checked instead...much like Robertson himself.
